Aayush Sharma & Zaheer Iqbal exit Twitter

BizAsiaLive.com reported earlier that Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem had left Twitter, citing wanting to stay away from negativity. Now Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal have also done the same.

The two actors, who have both starred in Salman Khan productions and have a close relationship with Khan, made the announcement almost simultaneously.

Iqbal just said “Goodbye Twitter” with a hands praying emoji. Sharma, on the other hand, stated, “280 characters are less to define a human being. But 280 characters are more than enough to spread fake news, hatred & negativity. Didn’t sign up for this nasty herd mentality… khuda hafiz”.

It seems the aftermath of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise is proving quite too much for some celebrities, who feel they should stay away from social media for now.
