Following a decline in viewership, Sony Entertainment Television Asia could be axing daily soap ‘Aathvaan Vachan’ this summer.
According to a report on TellyChakkar, Sony TV’s fiction head Sanjay Upadhyay commented on the programme’s future, “The show has been on air for a pretty long time but has not lived up to its promises. We are closely watching and have informed the producers for the same but no decision has been taken as of now.”
Dipti Inamdar who plays Manali۪s sister-in-law informed, “Recently the show has been given an extension of fifty episodes but it۪s not confirmed yet whether it will go off air or not.”
Roshan Abbas’ ‘Palampur Express’ is expected to replace ‘Aathvaan Vachan’ sometime in June.
