Aastha TV set to return on Sky Digital in January?

Aastha TV’s disappearance from UK shores could be short-lived after EPG data was spotted of the channel on the Sky Digital platform.

It looks like the religious/spiritual channel will replace Jackpot on-Sky channel 867 from Saturday 1st January before moving permanently into the international category of the EPG list.

Disha replaced Aastha TV in early-October but its launch lasted only a few days when Sky pulled the plug on the channel. It is not known exactly what happened to the service but rumour has it that Ofcom had taken back Aastha TV’s licence. Prior to this, Aastha had changed the service name to Disha on the licence.
