‘Aap Ki Antra’ to end this month on ZEE TV

ZEE TV’s successful depiction of a girl affected by autism in its daily drama, ‘Aap Ki Antra’, is coming to an end later this month.

The show will come to its natural end on Thursday 18th February in India (end of February in UK) to make way for a new show.

Confirming the news of ‘Aap Ki Antara’ ending, Producer Monish Sekhri told us, “Yes, the beautiful journey of Aap Ki Antara comes to an end on February 18th. But the awareness that this concept has created amongst the viewers has been something stupendous. And this in fact motivates me to do more out-of-the-league shows for television, and I will surely come back very soon with yet another nice concept that will give us bigger TRP”.

According to TellyBuzz, the show recently took a generation leap, which showed the grown up Antara (Anjum Farooki) facing life the way she sees it. However the channel has now decided to launch their new show ‘Do Saheliyan’, produced by Chota Ganpati Telecreations at the 22:30 slot from Monday 1st March in India.

It was only earlier this week that source from ZEE Network UK told us that ‘Do Saheliyan’ will occupy the 19:00 slot when it launches in the UK on Monday 22nd March. It is not known if the channel will now launch it in the old ‘Aap Ki Antra’ – 19:30 – slot.
