Aanand L Rai on SRK in ‘Zero’: “This is his toughest role”
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to play a a little person in Aanand L Rai’s movie, ‘Zero.’ The film which will mark the reunion of Khan with his ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012) co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif will be releasing on 21st December.
Sharma will be playing the role of a scientist whereas Kaif will play Khan’s love interest, reports Bollywood Life. As of now the film is in post-production phase. Recently Rai revealed how tedious it was for Khan to pull off his role.
“The film and Khan saab surprised me. When I saw it recently, I wondered how I managed it. Zero was tough for me as a director, but even more so for Khan saab. This is his toughest role. It drained him physically and mentally. He could not afford to slip even for a second,” he said. Now, this has raised our curiousness to watch the film ASAP. But since it is not happening anytime soon, all we can do is keep calm.
Jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Zero’ will also feature many celebrities in special appearances. From R Madhavan, Rani Mukerji, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor to Juhi Chawla and Deepika Padukone, This will able be the be the last film where the audience will get to witness actress Sridevi on the big screen before she died.
