Aanand L Rai says that Abhishek Bachchan is not making an ‘comeback’ with ‘Manmarziyaan’

Abhishek Bachchan will be romancing Taapsee Pannu in his upcoming ‘Manmarziyaan’. While the film will be his first in two years after ‘Housefull 3’ (2016) , ‘Manmarziyaan’ producer Aanand L. Rai refuses to call it Bachchan’s comeback film, as many have said.

As according to Deccan Chronicle, Rai said, “I don’t know why we are saying that he is coming back. He has been around. It’s good for an actor to take a gap if he so wishes to. He’s a talented actor. I’ve always wanted to work with him, and I’m glad we could do that with Manmarziyaan.”

‘Manmarziyaan’ is directed by Anurag Kashyap.
