Aamir Khan’s son to assist on ‘Peekay’

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s son Junaid Khan will be making his Bollywood debut by assisting director Rajkumar Hirani on his production ‘Peekay’, which stars Aamir Khan and Anushkar Sharma.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the youngster has already started working on this film by finding suitable locations for the shoot. The film is scheduled to go on floors later this year. Khan and Hirani remained unavailable for comment.

A source close to the Khan family told Mumbai Mirror, “Junaid has always been fascinated by the various aspects of filmmaking. He used to often accompany his father to the sets of his films. He always had a viewpoint. And Aamir was rather impressed with it.”

Vidhu Vinod Chopra who is also working closely on the film has been impressed by Junaid’s eye for detail including his understanding of camera angles and ear for music.
