Faisal Khan, best known for his role in Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Mela’ (2000), will soon start work on Sharique Minhaj’s ‘Mental,’ which is the working title of the film.

Incidentally, Salman Khan-starrer box office debacle ‘Jai Ho’ (2014) was also initially called ‘Mental,’ reports the Hindustan Times. Faisal’s film, which will be shot in Surat, Daman, Saputara and Mumbai, will go on floors in August.

“It is a new-age film, especially for the generation next who are madly obsessed with one-sided affairs and who take wrong decisions which is very immoral. This film’s subject is different from the earlier two films we did together. It revolves around a one-sided love affair and the guy goes at all lengths to win his love. He even becomes mental. I believe in quality rather than quantity. I listen to the script first before giving my nod. When Sharique narrated the script and my role, I eagerly accepted to do,” a report quoted Faisal Khan as saying.
