Aamir Khan & Vicky Kaushal contend for role of Vashishtha Narayan Singh?

Mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh’s life is all set to be put on celluloid and it seems makers are zeroing in on who will play the protagonist. News has it that the two contenders are Aamir Khan and Vicky Kaushal.

Earlier it was thought that Farhan Akhtar could be stepping into the role but this has since changed. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Farhan and Ritesh are thinking of casting either Aamir Khan or Vicky Kaushal for the role”.

“Nowadays, both Aamir and Vicky are considered ideal candidates for a lot of biopics because of their research and attention to detail. Aamir has done the Mahavir Singh Phogat biopic Dangal and Mangal Pandey many years ago. He will be doing Mogul as well, though he missed Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. Vicky, who did Sanju and will be seen in the Udham Singh as well as Sam Manekshaw biopics will be the next option if Aamir Khan’s dates do not work,” added the source.

Singh began his maths journey very early in his childhood and he went on to teach children. However, he was also diagnosed with schizophrenia later on.
