Aamir Khan to helm ‘Forrest Gump’ Hindi remake?

Aamir Khan, it is thought, was concentrating on ‘Mahabharata’ which he was apparently hoping to bring onto the big screen. However, it seems the actor is also about to bring another popular story to Indian cinema.

News has it that Khan has bought the rights to 1994 Tom Hanks starrer ‘Forrest Gump’. He’s apparently going to join hands with ‘Secret Superstar’ (2017) director Advait Chandan to bring the story to the big screens, as reported by Pinkvilla. This is especially exciting as many will agree that there’s noone better than the actor to step into the character’s shoes.

Khan’s most recent release was ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which came out at Diwali.
