Aamir Khan talks on having son via surrogacy

Despite science developing at such a rapid rate, where couples are able to have a family using medical methods, it still seems to be quite a taboo. So when actor Aamir Khan was addressing how he and wife Kiran Rao decided to have their son Azad, through surrogacy, he expressed how it was the best decision they made.

“You all know that I’m a very emotional person, very sensitive. I would say that the happiness that I have got personally, the happiness which Kiran and I have got is precious for us,”��NDTV reported the actor expressing.

He went on to say, “When Azad was born,��we were both very happy and we both wanted to be honest with people about it. We haven’t done anything wrong, have nothing to hide and people should know about it.”

Talking about the joys of having a child, Khan also spoke about having his children with his first wife Reena Datta, “It’s such a joy to have a child in your life. It’s something that really changes your life. When I had my first child, Junaid, it changed me, changed my life. But there are so many parents, people, so many single parents who are unable to have child.”

Rao was also reported explaining, “I was telling Aamir while we were on our way here that I don’t know what I did for those twenty years before Azad was born. My life feels so full now. We had a lot of trouble trying to have a baby.”

The likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Tusshar Kapoor have also had children through IVF and surrogacy, where they have received much support and acceptance from the public.
