Aamir Khan steps away from ‘Mogul’?
After confirmation that wife Kiran Rao is a committee member of the Producers Guild of India who will focus on making sure workplaces are safer, Aamir Khan has issued a statement about stepping away from a project.

Although the statement doesn’t reflect which specific project he’s decided to remove himself from, it could well be the upcoming ‘Mogul’ which was to be produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The reason could be that Subhash Kapoor, who was to direct the project, has been accused of sexual molestation by Geeta Tyagi, a lesser known actress.
A video of Kapoor as gone viral and with the #MeToo movement going strong, it could be that Khan and Rao want to stay away from the project.
‘Mogul’ is a film based on the life and times of Gulshan Kumar.
