Aamir Khan may have returned to Bhushan Kumar’s ‘Mogul’ after falling out due to director Subhash Kapoor’s attempted rape and molestation charges by Geetika Tyagi.
In support of the #MeToo movement, co-producers Khan and Kiran Rao stepped away from the film after allegations against Kapoor came to light. However, after removing Kapoor from the project, Kumar requested Khan to reconsider his exit, and he is now on board. “Aamir on his part too was keen to play the music mogul and so they have now once again decided to collaborate. Of course, they will now rope in a new director and they are on the lookout. The film will roll as soon as they can finalise the director.”, a source told CineBlitz.
Khan will be seen in the lead role of industry legend Gulshan Kumar. ‘Mogul’ also stars Gulshan Grover and Mouni Roy.
