It’s a little known fact that Aamir Khan is somewhat of a perfectionist, so it’s no surprise that his search for another script to direct would take him a while. News has it, thatwith the help of his brother Faisal, the actor has finally found his perfect match.
“Yes, I do have a script that I want to direct. The script that my brother Faisal found for me because he reads scripts for me is beautiful. I۪ve bought the rights and kept it aside and will make it at a future date,” Hindustan Times reported the actor stating.
His first directorial venture came in 2007 with the film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ where he also played the role of Ram Shankar Nikhumb. Talking about why he has yet to get back behind the camera, the actor went onto say, “I۪m very clear that I don۪t want to direct right now, because I feel that (now) I۪m peaking as an actor, doing work that۪s exciting me and I don۪t want to stop that growth. I don۪t want to put a curb on it.”
Khan has been receiving immense acclaim for his part in ‘Dhoom 3’ (2013). The actor will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Peekay’, set to release later this year.
