Aamir Khan ousted from ‘Sarfarosh’ sequel?

Aamir Khan’s 1999 film ‘Sarfarosh’ is all set for a sequel. However, whilst it was being said that Khan himself might be seen in the second instalment, it seems makers have other ideas.

Apparently, Khan will be replaced by a younger actor in the second film which will be directed by the original John Mathew Matthan, according to a Deccan Chronicle. A source revealed, “The makers are looking for a younger star to act in the sequel. The film has a good enough budget and therefore needs a star to back it. A newcomer won’t do. Once the actor is locked in, it will go on floors soon”.

The thriller also starred Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Bendre, and saw Khan played a police officer trying to combat terrorism.
