Like any film of his that releases, Aamir Khan‘s ‘Dangal’ has become one of the most anticipated films of the year and the trailer, which was recently released, has left people begging for the movie to hurry up and release. However, fans around the world have also been waiting eagerly for Salman Khan’s reaction.

Salman is thought to have seen the trailer and found it very similar to his film, ‘Sultan’ (2016). A source close to the star said, “Salman watched Dangal trailer when he was shooting for Tubelight in Manali. After watching the trailer, he too observed the scooter and the sweater scene and found it similar to his wrestling drama,” reports Bollywood Life.

It is no secret that the Khan superstars are good friends so assumptions were made whether the ‘Bodyguard’ (2011) star would have given the ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006) star feedback or, at least, sent a message to him after seeing the ‘Dangal’ trailer. However, it looks like they haven’t spoken to each other about this. At the Haanikaarak Bapu song launch event, the ‘Dangal’ star replied, “I haven’t spoken to Salman yet. I hope he has seen the trailer.” Khan gave a perfect reply to all the people who were comparing ‘Dangal’ with ‘Sultan’ (2016) at the Jio MAMI Film Festival 2016. Khan said; “Let the movie release and people will find out.”

During the release of ‘Dhoom 3’ (2013) the Salman had gone all out promote Aamir and this time many people were expecting the same but it looks like the same genre film has created a bit rift among the icons.

Before the release of ‘Sultan’, Salman was all praises for Aamir. During the ‘Sultan’ interviews, Salman said that Aamir was scared after he saw the film’s trailer. He responded, “Aamir is scared, why should he? He has Dangal. I have read Dangal’s script and its way way better than Sultan. If it would be my wish I would do both the films, Sultan and then Sultan Ka Dangal.”

‘Dangal’ releases on 23rd December, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
