Aamir Khan: “Mazhab teaches us love”

Aamir Khan 2

Popular actor Aamir Khan, who celebrated Eid with his mother this year, believes that people who spread terrorism or indulge in acts of terror have no connection withmazhab(religion).

As reported by the Hindustan Times, when asked to comment on the many dreadful terrorist activities reported from around the world recently which have put religion in a bad light, the ‘Ghajini'(2008) superstar had the following to say, “People who spread terrorism or do it, have no connection with mazhab, that’s what I think. Then whether he is of any religion, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Christian…”

The actor further added, “However much they say that they are doing it for religion, they have no relation with religion because if they actually follow it, mazhab teaches us love.”

The 51 year old refrained from commenting on whether controversial Islamic preacher, Zakir Naik should be banned.

Khan’s next titled ‘Dangal’ is an upcoming biological sports drama scheduled for release on 23rd December later this year.
