Aamir Khan: “Maybe Anupam thought I’m referring to the wrong Kiran”

Comments made by Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan on intolerance in India, caused havoc leading to Khan being stripped from the ambassador role he played to promote India.

The remarks were not taken lightly by Anupam Kher, who at the time criticised Khan for his statement. He said that his wife Kiran (Rao) asks whether they should move out of the country. Responding to this, Khan has now candidly spoken about the Kiran and Kirron (Kher) confusion. Let’s just hope there isn’t another repeat of the fiasco that occurred late last year.
