Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao, his cousin Nuzhat Khan and a few other close members of his circle are ready to show the world a biography of filmmaker Nasir Hussain; Khan’s paternal uncle, and his cousin۪s father.
The book will be released in the second half of October at MAMI Film Festival’s 18th edition in Mumbai. Khan and his family are expected to grace the occasion and will no doubt be beaming with pride at their accomplished work.
The book has been written by Akshay Manwani, who had previously written a book on poet Sahir Ludhianvi. The biography of Hussain, according to Times of India, comprises details, pictures, descriptions and plenty more about the better and lesser-known aspects of the filmmaker’s life. “Nuzhat has been involved with the exercise from the word go. Kiran has also been helping her out. The book comes out at a function to be held in the midst of the film festival in October,” says a source close to the actor. This was later confirmed by Hussain۪s grandson, actor Imran Khan. He said, ”The book has been written by Akshay. And it will release next month at MAMI.”
