Aamir Khan backs out of ‘Robot 2’?

For many months now, there has been much excitement with rumours doing the rounds that Aamir Khan and Rajnikanth may possibly star together in Shankar’s ‘Robot 2’. ��However, the latest on this front is that Khan has allegedly backed out of the project.

“Shankar has been wanting to collaborate with Aamir for the past seven to eight years… After ‘Robot’ became a superhit with Rajnikanth, Shankar decided to make a sequel to the film and approached Aamir to play the villain. ��The three had even apparently met and discussed the project at length… After thinking hard, the actor decided to let go of ‘Robot 2’ and concentrate on ‘Dangal’,” a source informed��Absolute India.

Khan is known for his image as a perfectionist, who likes to give his complete��focus to one character��at a time. ��It does not then come as a surprise that he chose not to balance two films, which were to be made simultaneously.
