In a coup for ZEE Network, Punjabi music legend Gurdass Maan and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan are uniting for a special one-off show on ZEE Punjabi.

ZEE Punjabi brings two stalwarts together in a candid conversation titled- ‘Maan meets Khan’. The tete-a-tete traverses the two so different yet so similar lives, their careers and contribution to the respective domains in a casual yet splendid way.

Aamir Khan in his ever enthusiastic spirits recapitulates his ‘Rang De Basanti’ days and his association with Punjab and its culture. Expressing his liking for the land of five rivers the talented actor says, “I have traveled across India but there is no other place like Punjab. The people of the state are extremely warm, friendly and hospitable and I truly love the way they are.”

With much fondness he remembers the serenity and divinity of Amritsar’s Golden Temple and his brief yet memorable stay in the city. Gurdass Maan on the other hand plays the perfect host by being a true ambassador of Punjabis around the world.

Amidst laughter, memories, experiences and conversation, the journey of talks navigates both Maan and Khan through their upcoming films, future plans and fondness for each other.

The special show – ‘Maan meets Khan’ – airs in India on ETC Punjabi on Saturday 19th December at 20:00, with an airing in the UK on ZEE Punjabi on Saturday 2nd January at 19:30.
