A-Sports to broadcast Pakistan’s first international padel tournament
Pakistan’s sports channel A-Sports has secured the broadcast rights for the country’s first international padel event, the McDonald’s Padel Karachi Grand Slam.
The four-day tournament will be televised live on A-Sports and streamed on ARY Zap, giving fans nationwide access to the fast-growing racquet sport.
The media agreement follows the announcement of McDonald’s Pakistan as the tournament’s headline sponsor and Coca-Cola as associate sponsor. Organised by Total Sports, the event will take place from 30th October to 2nd November at the Legends Arena in Karachi, which is home to Pakistan’s first dedicated padel courts.
“Coming on the back of securing McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, who were both very keen to support this event, this gives us a real opportunity to promote padel in Pakistan. Having these iconic brands as partners adds to the status of this event.
“This tournament is huge for us as we can showcase padel and the impact of Legends Arena, not only across our country, but across Asia and across the world.

The tournament will elevate Pakistan’s padel status on the global stage and is recognised as a significant milestone in padel’s development in Pakistan, which has seen phenomenal growth over the past two years.
Since Legends Arena opened the country’s first courts, Pakistan now boasts in the region of more than 350 courts with Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Faisalabad the major padel hubs.
