A R Rahman roped in for ‘Highway’

After the success of ‘Rockstar’ (2011), Imtiaz Ali has singed on A R Rahman again for his upcoming film ‘Highway’.

“We started this film in a big hurry. So, I did not want to trouble him but we stay in touch and I mentioned the story to him one day. We talked about it for a while and he was on board,” Bollywood Hungama��report Ali stating. From proven success in ‘Rockstar’, ‘Highway’ is sure to create some more magic with it’s tunes.

Talking about the music and story, Ali goes on to state, “this story is played out on a large and very picturesque terrain. In this kind of journey you feel certain things that can’t be expressed except through music. Most of the songs play in the background in ‘Highway’.”

Set to release on Friday 13th December, ‘Highway’ will star Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda.
