A R Rahman becomes even more selective

India�۪s only Oscar-winning music composer, A R Rahman, has always been quite selective with the Bollywood films he decides to compose music for.�� He has now become even more selective, as he fears it could otherwise lead to him getting bored of his work.

���I only want to do music that motivates me to work harder.�� Otherwise you lose your audience.�� The relationship becomes like an old boring marriage.�� It�۪s very important for me to not get bored with the work that I�۪m doing,�۝ Rahman told Absolute India.

Interestingly the composer, who is currently busy balancing his international work with his work in India, is one of the few who had an incredibly successful Bollywood career in the 1990s and continues to be in demand till today.

As he has become even more selective now, Rahman has signed on for only a few upcoming Bollywood movies: Shekhar Kapoor�۪s ��Paani�۪, Imtiaz Ali�۪s ��Tamasha�۪ and a film being produced by Rhea Kapoor.
