Vikramaditya Motwane innocent amongst Phantom scandal

With the #MeToo campaign becoming more prominent within the Indian film industry, the next group of men to be targeted for misconduct are Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena, all of which are a part of the Phantom Films production banner. The fourth name from the company however is said to be the only innocent one who had no idea about what his co-producers were doing.

According to Asian Age, Vikramaditya Motwane would spend all his free time with friend and family, and was completely oblivious to what the rest of his partners were up to. “Motwane focused on doing his work, making films and spending his free time with his wife. He hardly ever partied with the other partners. He has confessed to friends that he now feels betrayed by the partnership,” source was reported explaining.

There has already been news that Phantom Films will no longer be running, however Motwane will be the one to carry on with his work without any scandal following behind.

“Motwane’s innocence is not being questioned by those who see Phantom as an organization created for the partners to have adult fun. In fact, in the second season of the Netflix web series ‘Sacred Games’ (2018), which was to have been directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, may now be directed by Motwane alone,” the source went on to add.
