After ZEE5, Airtel signs content deal with Netflix

Airtel has signed an agreement with streaming giant, Netflix, which will make the service available to Airtel subscribers of select postpaid and V-Fiber Home Broadband plans.

Netflix will be available free for an initial three-month period for Airtel subscribers, after, which they will be able to pay for the service using Airtel postpaid or home broadband bill.

Airtel customers will enjoy the simplicity of one monthly bill for their Netflix subscription and Airtel postpaid/home broadband bill,” Netflix business development global head Bill Holmes said.

Airtel’s deal with Netflix comes just days after it was announced a content deal with ZEE5 was signed.
