Overnights: Star Plus stays high; Hum TV closes in; ZEE TV slumps on Friday

Star Plus remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Friday with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ holding on to the top position, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share was at 0.18% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ pulling in 99,900 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 61,600 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 21:00 with 56,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 54,800 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 54,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 51,400 viewers and ‘Winter Sun’ at 21:30 with 38,100 viewers. ‘Nazar’ was low with 6,000 viewers at 22:30.

Hum TV was in second place with a share of 0.12%. Its top rated shows were ‘Zun Mureed’ at 20:00 pulling in 54,100 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ at 19:00 with 46,700 viewers, ‘Maa Sadqay’ at 19:30 with 46,000 viewers and ‘Band Khirikiyan’ at 21:00 with 23,700 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television attracted a share of 0.08%. ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 led with 43,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 39,500 viewers and ‘Zindagi Ke Crossroads’ at 20:30 with 21,200 viewers.

Geo TV accelerated with a share of 0.07%. ‘Rubarau Ishq Tha’ repeat was the channel’s biggest draw with 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘Beti Jaisi’ at 19:30 with 22,000 viewers and ‘Rubarau Ishq Tha’ at 20:00 with 17,600 viewers.

Colors fetched a share of 0.04% with ‘Bepannaah’ pulling in 18,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ and ‘Tu Aashiqui’ with 15,200 viewers each.

Prime TV’s share was at 0.03%, while ZEE TV slumped to 0.01%. Its biggest show was ‘Piyaa Albela’ attracting 7,500 viewers at 19:00.
