Krystle D’Souza replaces Hina Khan as Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2?’

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2’ is all set to hit the television screens on 10th September and while Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan have already been finalised as Prerna and Anurag, there’s still a lot of confusion on Komolika’s part.

Rumours circulated that Hina Khan is the new Komolika but nothing has been confirmed so far, reports DNA India. Producer Kapoor, it seems, is keen on keeping it a secret until the show finally premieres on screen.
 
To add to the confusion, Kapoor shared a picture on 13th August featuring Urvashi Dholakia, Ankita Patel and Krystle D’Souza. The caption ‘Taking tips from the gang on creating the new age mean girl! #komolika #fromtheformertothelatter.’ sparked rumours of D’Souza having replaced Khan in the show. Next day, D’Souza’s Instagram story from her vanity van added more fuel to fire.
 
In a recent interview, when asked who will play Komolika’s part in the second season, Kapoor said, “She is a big TV actress who has done positive roles, now you guess!” Well, it only confused us more as both Hina and Krystle have played positive roles in their television career.
 
Earlier in an interview, when asked to confirm her part in the show, Khan had said, “I won’t say it’s not happening, but I suggest let’s wait for the official announcement. Yes, I did go to meet Ekta and somehow people started to speculate, and it came to a point where they even confirmed that I’ve been roped in for the show, whereas I’m yet to sign anything. I mean you don’t know what talks we exchanged in a room and how it works, so let the makers make the final announcement.”
