India Ratings: Star Plus strengthens hold on top

Star Plus remained the ultimate leader in latest India ratings for the Urban region, according to BARC data for Week 32 of 2018.

The channel delivered 486.654 million Impressions, followed by Colors, which tumbled down with 405.648 million Impressions and ZEE TV in third with 382.400 million Impressions. At No.4 was Sony Entertainment Television with 361.707 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV in fifth with 314.940 million Impressions.

The biggest shows in the Urban region were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 9.631 million Impressions, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 8.396 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 7.951 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol was the biggest Hindi entertainment channel with 591.769 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 469.911 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 441.686 million Impressions. In fourth was Rishtey moving up a place with 415.929 million Impressions and Dangal was at No.5 with 339.149 million Impressions.

The biggest shows in the Rural region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 10.446 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony Pal with 6.896 million Impressions and ‘Rabba Ve’ on Star Utsav was next with 6.483 million Impressions.

In the combined Urban & Rural regions data, ZEE Anmol was on top again with 747.862 million Impressions, followed by Star Plus, which moved up to No.2 with 682.867 million Impressions and Star Utsav slipped to third with 665.087 million Impressions. In fourth was ZEE TV with 621.587 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 614.763 million Impressions.

The biggest shows in the combined data were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 15.221 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 13.130 million Impressions and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 12.972 million Impressions.
