‘Perfect Pati’ to launch in 19:00 slot on &TV

&TV is launching its new show ‘Perfect Pati’ in the 19:00 slot, replacing ‘Mitegi Lakshmanrekha’ later this month.

The Filmfarm Productions’ venture stars Ayush Anand and Sayali Sanjeev. It also marks the television debut of veteran Bollywood star, Jaya Prada.

Sanjeev, a popular Marathi actress, will also be entering Indian television with this show. Talking about it, she told Times Of India, “I am very excited to enter the Hindi Television. I am playing the role of Vidita Rajawat, who stays in a small village in Rajasthan. The story will revolve around her expectations of a perfect husband. Aayush Anand will be essaying the role of my husband whereas the veteran actress Jaya Prada will be seen as my mother-in-law.”

She added, “Though the show is in the Hindi language, there are certain Rajasthani words that will be used in the dialogues. So I had to go through a training session to learn the Rajasthani language. Also, I will be seen in a completely new look. I will be seen wearing ghagra and choli in the show.”

‘Pefect Pati’ launches on Monday 3rd September at 19:00.
