Overnights: Hum TV & Hum Masala put on strong performance on Tuesday

Hum TV Network channels, Hum TV and Hum Masala both performed strongly in UK ratings on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Hum TV’s share surged to 0.10%, while Hum Masala did well with a share of 0.07%. Both channels were ahead of its rivals Sony Entertainment Television (0.06%), Star Bharat (0.06%), ZEE TV (0.02%), Colors (0.02%) and Geo TV (0.01%).

Hum TV’s biggest attractions on Tuesday were ‘Tabeer’ at 20:00 with 52,000 viewers, followed by ‘Maa Sadqay’ at 19:30 with 40,600 viewers, ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ at 21:00 with 39,200 viewers and ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ at 19:00 with 38,800 viewers.

Hum Masala’s ‘Paindabad Pakistan Transmission’ to coincide with Pakistan’s Independence Day was watched by 21,000 viewers from 15:30.

Star Plus remained the biggest UK Asian TV broadcaster with a share of 0.14%. The channel’s biggest shows were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 56,700 viewers, closely followed by ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 56,500 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ with 47,800 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewla’ with 45,300 viewers and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ with 44,100 viewers. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ slipped out the top shows with 32,100 viewers at 18:30.

Star Bharat also impressed with ‘Jiji Maa’ fetching 33,400 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ at 22:00 with 19,500 viewers.

Sony TV’s top shows on Wednesday were ‘Mere Sai’ with 24,900 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai’ with 22,000 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:30 with 17,400 viewers.

Rishtey’s share was at 0.04% with ‘Uttaran’ pulling in 18,200 viewers, followed by ‘Radha Prem Ki Deewani’ with 13,900 viewers and ‘Rasoi Show’ with 12,200 viewers.

Colors top shows were ‘Savitri Devi’ with 6,700 viewers, followed by ‘Dance Deewane’ repeat at 17:00 with 6,200 viewers.

ZEE TV’s ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ led with 16,500 viewers, followed by ‘Kaleerein’ with 15,800 viewers at 18:00.
