Mira Kapoor receives flak for her first TV commercial

Murmurs of Mira Kapoor taking up a career in acting have been around for quite some time, but now Kapoor is edging closer to her goal after making her debut in a TV advert.

Reported on DNA India, Kapoor made her appearance for a TV commercial for Olay’s anti-ageing cream. The commercial had a personal touch to it, as it showcased Kapoor’s relationship with husband-actor Shahid Kapoor and her life now as a mother to Misha Kapoor.

Sharing with fans on Instagram, Kapoor captioned her post – “Being a mother doesn’t mean you stop being yourself right? Here’s my #Reborn story… what’s yours?”

Kapoor then goes on to say in the ad, “I’ve always been a very hands on mum, so you tend to forget yourself as a woman. The stress, the sleepless nights – my pregnancy glow just vanished…”

The ‘Padmavaat’ (2018) actor was all praise for his wife, commenting on her post “Who’s that stunner?”. But unfortunately not all of Kapoor’s fans agreed and expressed their dislike towards the advert and for Kapoor for endorsing an anti-ageing product at the young age of 23. Some were saying that Kapoor looked “fake”, whilst others asked for a before and after “without lighting and make-up”.

The Kapoors are currently expecting their second child, they held an intimate baby shower last month with close friends and family.
