Box Office: Poor openings for ‘Fanney Khan’, ‘Mulk’ & ‘Karwaan’

This weekend’s three film releases ‘Fanney Khan’, ‘Mulk’ and ‘Karwaan’ have opened up poorly, with all films registering poor stars across the board.

According to Box Office India, the films occupancy is said to be in the range of 5-7%, with ‘Fanney Khan’ ahead due to more screen occupancy. The Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer should earn business of Rs. 3 crore nett by the end of the today.

‘Fanney Khan’ has the best out of the lot for survival but it all depends on word of mouth as the chances look bleak. ‘Mulk’ may do well regionally but its collections are a disaster in many circuits. ‘Karwaan’ has been described as a multiplex film for the metros and it too will find it an uphill struggle.
