Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake to roll on 20th August

Shahid Kapoor, who has been showing support for his brother Ishaan Khatter’s Bollywood debut ‘Dhadak’, is almost all set to shoot for the Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ (2017).

The film was meant to go on the floors this month but instead was deferred to next month, according to TOI. It’s now thought it’ll roll on 20th August, and Kapoor will have grown a full beard by then for the role. Kapoor was told that he didn’t need to grow a beard but could use a fake one but he insisted on the authentic look.

The role is an intense one and Kapoor wants to ensure he gets the medical profession and other nuances within the part just right.
