Overnights: Star Plus claims victory over New Vision TV on Friday

After a few days of intense rivalry between market leader, Star Plus and Pakistani news services, the former clinched back the No.1 position in UK ratings on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.16%, with the following shows proving the biggest draw on Friday:
1. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein – 89,800 viewers
2. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala – 75,900 viewers
3. Mariam Khan – 63,700 viewers
4. Ishqbaaaz – 50,800 viewers
5. Krishna Chali London – 43,400 viewers

New Vision TV, which has been dominating UK ratings over the past few days for its Pakistan elections coverage, still stayed strong but its share fell to 0.11%.

Sony Entertainment Television was at No.3 with a share of 0.06%. The channel’s biggest show was ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 22,200 viewers. ‘Zindagi Ke Crossroads’ at 20:30 raked in 14,900 viewers.

Colors attracted a share of 0.05% with ‘Bepannaah’ at 21:30 ruling with 39,800 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Roop’ with 25,300 viewers and ‘Silsila’ repeat with 20,600 viewers.

Star Bharat and Hum TV fetched a share of 0.04%, while ZEE TV registered a share of 0.02%.

Amongst Urdu shows, ‘Zun Mureed’ repeat at midnight on Hum TV was the biggest show with 21,100 viewers.
