‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ celebrates 2700 episodes

One of the longest running shows on television, Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai’ has added yet another milestone to its flawless journey. The show has turned 2700 and the team cannot be happier. Producer Rajan Shahi and the cast and crew’s happiness was evident from the way they participated in the celebrations recently.

A special havan was done to commemorate the show’s achievement on the set itself, Friday afternoon (27th July). This was followed by naach gaana by the entire team. To celebrate the accomplishment, a special cake with the numbers ‘2700’ was also arranged to be cut by the team.

“I would like to thank the entire team for the great efforts that they have been putting in since so many years. It is because of them that the show is a success. Along with this, I would also like to thank the avid viewers of the show. You make us what we are today,” says an elated Shahi. His mother Deepa Shahi was spotted in a happy mood and the star cast took blessings from her.

Besides reel and real life couple Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, other members of the team were also present including Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Vishal Singh, Sachin Tyagi, Parul Chauhan, Shilpa Raizada, Vaishnavi Rao, Alok Nath and Kshitee Jog.
