Vivek Oberoi reveals Sonali Bendre was in pain during ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ shoot

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre recently opened up about her illness and shared on social media that she was suffering from cancer. The news shocked her followers, who inundated her with their wishes. People extended their support to the actress and called her ‘brave’ and ‘strong’,

Zee News reveals that Bendre’s co-judge on ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’, Vivek Oberoi said that she was in pain while shooting the episodes. “Sonali is a good friend of mine and her husband Goldie Behl was my classmate in school. This time around when we shooting for India’s Best Dramebaaz show, Sonali used to complain about suffering from pain in body and hands.”

“She is a very brave a courageous woman and I am sure she will fight it out and win the battle. She will come out as a winner and stay fit. I am in constant touch with the her as well as her husband through messages”, added Oberoi.

Director Umang Kumar, also a co-judge on ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ was shocked to learn about her illness. Kumar shared that nobody knew that Bendre was suffering from cancer during the shooting of the show. “I got to know about her illness through radio and am praying of her wellbeing”, he said.

Actress Huma Qureshi has replaced Bendre on show for the current season. Qureshi believes that Bendre will win her battle against the illness and come back on the show fit and well.

Bendre regularly shares updates about her condition via social media and often posts pictures and videos. She has documented each phase of confronting her illness and has emerged as a strong human being.
