Box Office: Shahid Kapoor to clash with Diljit Dosanjh & Kajol in September

Having just finished wrapping up his forthcoming film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, Shahid Kapoor is set to face competition from some of the industry greats. News has it that the makers of the film have pushed back the release date, resulting it to clash with both Diljit Dosanjh and Kajol starrers.

According to Bollywood Life, the decision to delay ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ came when it had been confirmed that Shraddha Kapoor who also stars in the film, will also have her other project titled ‘Stree’ releasing that day as well. However, the new release date (14th September) falls on the same date as Dosanjh’s ‘Arjun Patiala’ and Kajol’s ‘Helicoter Eela’.

With all three films being rather different, audiences will be spoilt for choice.
