Priyanka Chopra not charging any fees for ‘Bharat’?

After the series finale of ‘Quantico’ (ABC), Priyanka Chopra is finally back to Bollywood. She is working with Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’, and while there were numerous amounts reported to be Chopra’s fees, including Rs 12 crore, Chopra is reportedly doing the film free of charge.

A source revealed, “She has generously offered to do the film for free as it is being directed by her friend Ali Abbas Zafar. As far as reports of her being paid Rs 12 crore are concerned, they may be attempts at one-upping Deepika Padukone, whose marketing team, since the release of Padmaavat, has been claiming that she is the highest paid actress in Bollywood. The truth is, even Deepika isn’t getting that kind of money after Padmaavat,” as reported by Asian Age. 

‘Bharat’ is slated to release next year.
