Farhan Akhtar to star in Shonali Bose’s next with Priyanka Chopra?

Rumours over the last few weeks about Shonali Bose’s next have been doing the rounds, with Abhishek Bachchan’s name being linked opposite Priyanka Chopra.

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s spokesperson denied rumours of Abhishek taking the film up, it now seems Farhan Akhtar is the latest star connected with the film. The Indian Express reports that Akhtar and Chopra will be sharing screen space together.

A source revealed to IndianExpress, “The movie is based on Ayesha’s life and her book My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Ayesha’s role in the film. The film goes on floors in August, this year.”
