Diljit Dosanjh: “I haven’t had to make an effort to keep getting offers”

Diljit Dosanjh made a notable Bollywood film debut with the headline making ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016). Already being a remarkable star in the Punjabi film and music industry, he does admit that everything happened by itself in Bollywood, where he hasn’t had to work hard for offers. Nonetheless, he still feels work shouldn’t be too easy in any field.

As according to Asian Age, Dosanjh said, “I can’t speak for others, but I have been lucky. I’ve never even had a manager to represent me here, in Bollywood. It has all happened by itself. Your work is your resume; you don’t have to make a profile of yourself and sell it. The journey so far has been great. I haven’t had to make an effort to keep getting offers. I haven’t planned anything. I don’t fear competition; I am not a part of any competition. Having said that, healthy competition is necessary and important. It should never be too easy for anyone, in any field.”

Dosanjh will next be seen in ‘Soorma’, slated for a 13th July release.
