Overnights: ‘PadMan’ propels ZEE Cinema to No.1 slot on Sunday in UK
The premiere of Akshay Kumar’s hit film ‘PadMan’ pushed ZEE Cinema to the No.1 position in UK ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The channel jumped ahead of market leader Star Plus, with a share of 0.10%. The film, which was aired twice, got 29,400 viewers at 18:00, with another 18,200 viewers at 21:00.
Rishtey Cineplex also surged in ratings on Sunday with a share of 0.08%. Its top film was ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ at 11:45 with 17,300 viewers.
Sony MAX also did well with a share of 0.05% with ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ pulling in 12,400 viewers.
Sony Entertainment Television was next with a share of 0.04%, while Star Plus, Colors and ZEE TV clocked a share of 0.03%.
