Colors to continue broadcasting IIFA Awards after new deal

Colors has agreed a new deal with Wizcraft International for the 19th Edition of NEXA IIFA Awards Styled by Myntra, to be held at Siam Niramit Theatre in Bangkok between 22nd and 24th June.

This is the fourth year that the two giants will be collaborating for the star-studded event. The deal consists of flashback episodes, IIFA Buzz, IIFA Rocks and the NEXA IIFA Awards, which will air on Colors as well as digital platform VOOT.

Wizcraft International co-founder and director Sabbas Joseph said, “The IIFAs travel the world bringing people and cultures closer together. We are delighted to be returning to Bangkok after a decade to once again create an Indian celebration. With this year’s star-studded line-up we would also bring alive nostalgia with Rekhaji’s performance in an event brimming with youthfulness. Indian movie fans are in for a treat like never before.”

This year’s event will see performances from the likes of Rekha, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Iulia Vantur.
