TV rights of ‘Race 3’ sold for Rs. 130 crore?

Salman Khan’s much awaited next thriller ‘Race 3’ has reportedly fetched a huge price for its satellite TV rights.

According to DNA India, the film, which hits cinemas this weekend, has surpassed the price paid for ‘Dangal’. The report adds that the film’s satellite TV rights have gone for Rs. 130 crore.

If the news is correct, then ‘Race 3’ has recovered its complete production price, which will put it in the profit zone. It will also make it the biggest movie in terms of acquisition fee.
