Ayushmann Khurrana: “I did a single now as I had a break between shoots”

Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up for the release of his third single, ‘Chan Kitthan’. He will be playing an undercover cop in the music video, a role he has not done before, and it is directed by ‘Tumhari Sulu’ (2018) fame Suresh Triveni.

Mirror reports that the single has been shot in locations such as “Khardungla Pass, Tsomgo Lake, Gangtok and at Tashi Namgyal Academy, a public school in Sikkim”. Khurrana revealed that he hadn’t gotten the time to record a single as he was busy with his film schedules. He said, “And each film had a song sung by me. I did a single now as I had a break between shoots.”

On Triveni’s direction, Khurrana added, “He wanted to show me in a different light as I haven’t played a cop in any of my films. Suresh is a very exciting director to work with.”

‘Chan Kitthan’ will see Khurrana paired opposite South actress Pranitha Subhash.
