Box Office: ‘Veere Di Wedding’ clocks Rs. 10.70 crore on first day

‘Veere Di Wedding’, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania has smashed the box office and broken all records by collecting Rs. 10.70 crore on it’s opening Friday, making it the third highest opener of 2018, a huge feat for a film headlined by four female leading actors.

The film that celebrates friendship, had several takers at the box office with audiences queuing up at theatres to catch the entertainer on the day of its release. Registering an incredible occupancy of 33% during early morning shows meant that ‘Veere Di Wedding’ was already on its way to a top trend of achieving a blockbuster status.

Says trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “Audience verdict is FINAL… #VeereDiWedding starts with a BIG BANG in morning shows… Noon shows SUPER-STRONG too… Undoubtedly, one of the best starts of 2018”.

Going by the Friday numbers, ‘Veere Di’ Wedding has an explosive weekend ahead thanks to the positive word of mouth , hit music , exciting trailer , fun dialogues and insane buzz generated by their marketing campaign.
