Overnights: Star Plus stays top; Hum TV & BritAsia TV take No.2

Star Plus remained the most watched Asian TV channel in the UK on Friday, despite its share dropping again, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share was at 0.16% with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ pulling in 77,600 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 65,400 viewers and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ and ‘Krishna Chali London’ both attracting 55,600 viewers.

Hum TV and BritAsia TV shared the second spot with a share of 0.10%. Hum TV’s biggest show was ‘Adhan-e-Isha’ with 45,600 viewers, followed by ‘Parchhayi’ with 33,600 viewers and ‘Mausam’ with 32,100 viewers.

BritAsia TV saw a surge in its ratings with shows between 14:00 and 20:00 attracting an average of 23,000 viewers throughout the period.

Geo TV drew a share of 0.05%, followed by Colors and Rishtey with 0.04% and Sony Entertainment Television with 0.03%. ZEE TV attracted a share of 0.02%.
