Salman Khan on new actors: “Feel they will lose their respect if they do TV”

Superstar Salman Khan returns to television next week with the much awaited ‘Dus Ka Dum’ on Sony TV.

Khan, who is now synonymous with shows like ‘Bigg Boss 11’, said several Gen-Y actors are not keen on making their television debut as they think they’ll lose respect if they did so.

He was cited in DNA India saying, “I’ve spoken to a lot of actors from this generation and I’ve realised that they feel they will lose their respect if they do TV. They think they will be looked down upon and people will laugh at them. They would rather not work than make those lakhs of rupees that they can make from TV.”
