Box Office: John Abraham’s ‘Parmanu’ starts off slow

John Abraham’s much delayed release ‘Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran’ has opened up quietly at the India box office.

According to Box Office India, the film had an opening of 10-15% in morning business. The opening, in terms of occupancy, seems to be similar to ‘Hichki’ and ‘102 Not Out’ but its opening is bigger with around 1800 screens.

The patriotic theme of the film may work in its favour. Whether positive word of mouth helps the film business over the weekend, remains to be seen.
