Makers of ‘Sade Saati’ can’t decide between Sonakshi Sinha or Ileana D’Cruz

With Ajay Devgn already having signed the project, it seems filmmaker Anees Bazmee has hit a crossroads when it comes to deciding the female leads. With both actresses having worked well with Devgn, Bazmee can’t seem to decide whether to take Sonakshi Sinha or Ileana D’Cruz.

“The makers have two options in their mind. They want to cast either Ileana D’Cruz or Sonakshi Sinha to play Ajay’s love interest. The main heroine’s role is as important as that of the three heroes because her character is significant to the plot,” DNA India reports a source revealing.

Though he didn’t delve into any details, Bazmee spoke candidly about having worked with D’Cruz. “It was lovely working with Ileana in ‘Mubarakan’ (2017). She’s a terrific actress and I would like to work with her again. The heroine’s role in ‘Sade Saati’ is a well-established part but as of now, we haven’t approached any actress for the role,” he said.

Further news reports that Anil Kapoor will also be on board the project and there is talk of Varun Sharma signing on too, as the source revealed, “There won’t be any heroine opposite Anil. Anees is also planning to get Varun Sharma on board.”
